I've done quite a bit of creative work. I'm lucky, my brain seems to supply endless big ideas and refinements of those ideas once I say yes to them and dig in.

I write copy, and create sophisticated visual concepts. I'm good at it.

The best creative marketing transparently and cleverly communicates what the organization does well, and an ideal marketing message buzzes not only customers but employees. Giving the employees a taste of pride is both a gift and a very strong clue that a marketing message is on target.

A strong message can always be integrated better into day to day marketing materials for sales staff, or included in communication with customers.

Here's an example of work I did from my CarsDirect days. It uses the concept of a mind map to communicate a network of automotive lead generating websites.

While modest in scope, such work makes a difference.
